Ann T. Lopiccolo

Ann T. Lopiccolo, 62, of East Butler died unexpectedly Thursday in the Butler Memorial Hospital emergency department.

She was born May 20, 1949, a daughter of Leonora Peplowski and the late John Peplowski.

A homemaker, she had formerly worked at Magnetics in East Butler.

Ann loved her home and privacy. She was an animal lover, who had bred and raised Pomeranian dogs, and she was known to take in every stray animal that she came across. She greatly enjoyed feeding the animals and wildlife around her home. She was also an avid reader.

She is survived by her husband, Carl W. Lopiccolo, who she married Jan. 14, 1975; two sons, Eric Healy and his wife, Elizabeth, of Missouri and Jason Bester and his wife, Ruth, of Butler; one daughter, Shannon Lopiccolo, and her fiancé, Doug Harmon, of Meridian; her mother, Leonora Peplowski of East Butler; one brother, John Michael Peplowski of East Butler; four sisters, Leona Osche of East Butler, Joann Collins of East Butler, Carole Boice of Herman and Deborah Toward of Sarver; four granddaughters; three grandsons; and nine nieces and nephews.

LOPICCOLO — Friends of Ann T. Lopiccolo, who died Thursday, July 7, 2011, will be received at the

Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Cremation will follow. Further funeral services are not planned.
