Viola A. Mowery, 82, of Middlesex Township, Valencia, died Sunday morning at UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Township.

Born April 14, 1929, in Middlesex Township, she was the daughter of William A. and Margaret Clark Barton Mowery, who are deceased.

A hair dresser, she owned and operated Viola's Beauty Shop in Middlesex Township since 1949.

She was a member of the Glade Run Presbyterian Church in Cooperstown.

Many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and great-great-nephews survive her.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Harry Barton, and a sister, Margaret Hawn.
