SAXONBURG — District Judge Sue Haggerty recently heard these cases:

Melissa M. Babyak, 33, of Sarver waived to court charges of driving under the influence and careless driving, filed May 7 by state police

Henry Cypher, 20, of Cabot waived to court charges of possessing a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, filed June 15 by Saxonburg police.

James W. Johns III, 25, of Valencia was held for court on charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possessing drug paraphernalia and speeding, filed May 9 by state police.

Andrew J. Steinhiser, 20, of Cabot waived to court charges of possessing a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, filed June 15 by Saxonburg police.

BUTLER TWP — District Judge Kevin O'Donnell recently heard these cases:Robert D. Bledsoe, 37, of Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of harassment, filed June 5 by township police. Bledsoe was ordered to pay $296 in fines and court costs.Brian E. Grystar, 35, of Butler waived to court charges of DUI and driving at an unsafe speed, filed June 20 by township police.Laura Halstead, 43, of Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct, filed June 10 by township police. Halstead was ordered to pay $453.50 in fines and court costs.Scott H. Leah, 42, of Waynesboro, Franklin County, waived to court nine counts of possessing child pornography and charges of distributing child pornography and criminal use of a communication facility, filed June 7 by state police.Renee L. Miller, 39, of Butler was held for court on two counts each of retail theft and conspiracy to commit retail theft, filed June 8 by township police.Timothy Nebel, 53, of Butler waived to court charges of DUI and careless driving, filed June 17 by township police.Kristal L. Sacco, 25, of Butler waived to court a charge of retail theft, filed July 9 by township police.Jonathan L. Smith, 36, of Butler was held for court on two counts each of retail theft and conspiracy to commit retail theft, filed June 8 by township police.Jeffrey S. Snyder, 49, of Sarver pleaded guilty to charges of harassment and disorderly conduct, filed July 11 by township police. Snyder was ordered to pay $462 in fines and court costs.

SLIPPERY ROCK — District Judge Tim Shaffer recently heard these cases:Benjamin R. Ashcraft, 23, of Butler waived to court a charge of driving under the influence, filed June 8 by state police.Heather M. Brannen, 25, of Harmony was held for court on charges of DUI, disregarding traffic lanes and careless driving, filed March 15 by state police.Delbert R. Gable, 32, of Grove City waived to court charges of DUI, driving without a license, not using turn signals, driving with no rear lights and not wearing a seat belt, filed June 1 by state police.John J. Kamerer, 36, of Butler waived to court three counts of driving under the influence of a controlled substance and a charge of possessing drug paraphernalia, filed Jan. 10 by state police.Steven D. Lawson, 38, of Evans City was held for court on a charge of DUI, filed April 25 by Moraine State Park officers.Ryan M. Mazzanti, 30, of West Sunbury waived to court charges of DUI, driving with a suspended license-DUI related, disregarding traffic lanes and careless driving, filed May 19 by state police.

CHICORA — District Judge Lewis Stoughton recently heard these cases filed by state police:Troy A. Dupe, 24, of East Brady pleaded guilty to charges of possessing a small amount of marijuana and disorderly conduct, filed June 14. Dupe was ordered to pay $864.50 in fines and court costs.Paul Homa Jr., 50, of West Sunbury waived to court charges of driving under the influence, failing to keep right, disregarding traffic lanes, careless driving, hit-and-run, and failing to stop and render aid, filed June 7.Marguerite D. Miles-Brinkley, 20, of Saxonburg waived to court charges of DUI, a stop sign violation, speeding and careless driving, filed June 7.Edward W. Perry, 31, of East Butler waived to court a charge of possessing drug paraphernalia, filed June 10.Kenneth W. Riddle, 39, of Lyndora was held for court on charges of criminal mischief and theft from a vehicle, filed March 28.Bradley J. Sheakley, 22, of Saxonburg waived to court a charge of DUI, filed June 9.Joseph D. Zulick, 19, of Butler was held for court on charges of manufacturing a controlled substance, possessing with intent to deliver a controlled substance, and possessing a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, filed June 30.Matthew P. Zulick, 44, of Butler was held for court on charges of manufacturing a controlled substance, possessing with intent to deliver a controlled substance, and possessing a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, filed June 30.
