Butler native graduates Naval Officers School

Raymond Melder of Butler, son of Cathy and Raymond Melder, graduated June 24 from the U.S. Naval Officer Development School in Newport, R.I.He is a 2005 graduate of Butler High School and a 2009 alumnus of the University of Miami. In August, he will enter his second year of medical school at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathy Medicine.
