Edith J. Salo
Edith J. Salo, 68, of Fombell passed away peacefully Monday, her birthday, surrounded by her family.
Born June 20, 1943, in Montana, Edith had a passion for quilting, gardening, flowers and ceramics; but, her greatest love was her husband, children and grandchildren.
She was a selfless woman who was a true caregiver and was warmly referred to as “Gama” by everyone. She touched many lives and will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
She is survived by her adoring husband of 47 years, John Salo; three loving daughters, Christine Swann and her husband, Paul, of Baden, Suzann Charlton and her husband, Lee, of Oakdale and Bonnie Salo of Orlando, Fla. In addition, she is survived by five loving grandchildren, Amber, Corinne, Braeden, Hannah and Grant.
