Elizabeth Rose Bucciarelli, 88, of Boyers passed away at her home early Thursday morning.

Born in Butler, April 18, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine Buzanoski.

Elizabeth was employed at the former Spaide Shirt Factory during World War II, and later she was employed at Slippery Rock University in the custodial department, where she retired after 20 years.

She was a lifetime member of St. Alphonsus Parish in Murrinsville, Marion Township, where she was a member of the Altar Society and the Nifty-Fifty at Epiphany Hall.

She married Armando Herman Bucciarelli in October 1950, and he passed away July 6, 1982.

She is survived by two sons, Raymond Bucciarelli of Boyers and Antonio Bucciarelli of Boyers.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Steven “Buzz” Buzanoski and Eddie Buzanoski.

<B>BUCCIARELLI</B> — At the request of the family, there will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian burial for Elizabeth Rose Bucciarelli, who died Thursday, June 16, 2011, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Alphonsus Parish in Murrinsville with Father Albert Kosar and Father Bedallion officiating. Interment will take place at Epiphany Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Elizabeth’s honor to the Humane Society of Pennsylvania or to the Community Health Clinic of Butler County.To view or send online condolences and sympathy cards, visit buzardfuneralhomes.com.
