Madeline Raybuck
Madeline Heckathorne Raybuck, 91, of Orlando Fla., formerly of Meridian, died at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Savannah Cottage of Oviedo.
Born in Grove City, she was the daughter of George and Esther Marie Orr.
She was a longtime member of the Meridian United Presbyterian Church and was involved in many church activities.
She graduated from Slippery Rock State College and was a one-room school teacher before she became a homemaker.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol Hall of Orlando, Fla.; two stepdaughters, Norma Jean Werner and her husband, Ervin, of Butler, and Monalene Werner and her husband, William, and stepson Lee Raybuck and his wife, Marilyn, all of Florida; four grandchildren, Shawn Heckathorne and his wife, Darcy, of Mt. Home, Idaho, Thomas Heckathorne and his wife, Jennifer, of Indianapolis, Ind., Heather Borgon and her husband, Robert, and Travis Hall and his fiancee, Rachel, all of Orlando, Fla.; seven great-grandchildren; numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Frederick Heckathorne and William Raybuck; two sisters and a brother and their spouses; and two sons, James and Dennis.
RAYBUCK — Friends of Madeline Heckathorne Raybuck, who died Wednesday, June 8, 2011, will be received at the
Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler, from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday with a funeral service following at 11 a.m. with pastor H. William Glassman of the Living Word Evangelical Free Church and the Rev. Stephen M. Franklin of Meridian United Presbyterian Church officiating.Burial will take place at Butler County Memorial Park.
