Juanita H. Trunzo
Juanita H. Trunzo, 83, of Butler died Friday of natural causes at the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler.
Born Nov. 24, 1927, in Brockway, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Evelyn (Dunlap) Hooten.
She married John Trunzo in 1947.
Juanita graduated from Butler County Community College and from Slippery Rock University in 1989, at the age of 53. She was a special education teacher in the Butler School District for 10 years.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Butler.
Surviving are her beloved husband, John Trunzo; two daughters, Joanne Cook and her husband, Andrew, of Thetford Center, Vt., and Jeanne Rosenbauer and her husband, Ray, of Butler; three grandchildren, Erik Sandberg (Jessica Sand) of San Francisco, Calif., Devin (Adrienne) Rosenbauer of Rochester, N.Y., and Jenna Rosenbauer of Butler; two sisters, Judy Jenvey of Dover, Tenn., and Geri Cruikshank of San Diego, Calif.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Juanita was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
TRUNZO — Friends of Juanita H. Trunzo, who died Friday, June 10, 2011, will be received at the
Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 11 a.m. until noon on Monday. A private family service will then follow.
