Donna W. Burk, 81, of Butler passed away Wednesday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler.

She was born Jan. 25, 1930, in Hilliards, the daughter of the late John E. Wilson and the late Florence (Altmire) Wilson.

She attended the Oneida Valley Free Methodist Church and was a member of the Bell Pioneers.

She had been a telephone operator for Bell Telephone.

She loved the outdoors and spending time with her family.

Surviving are two sons, Donn E. (Stacey) Burk of Butler and Dale E. Burk of West Sunbury; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a nephew.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David William “Bill” Burk, who died May 19, 2007; and a sister, Audrey Jean Boyd.
