An Outdoor Discovery series takes place Thursdays in summer at Alameda Park, off New Castle Road, Butler Township. Moraine State Park, Muddy Creek Township, will be the site of a scavenger hunt at the beach from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Lakeview Beach, an eco-tour paddle from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday departing from Porter's Cove, and a kayak and water safety cookout from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Moraine Outdoor Center.
