The Summer Dramatics Project will put on the musical “Annie” at 7:30 p.m. July 28, 29 and 30 and at 2 p.m. July 31 at the Succop Theater at Butler County Community College. Reserved premium seats are $12 and reserved seats are $10. Tickets are available at May's Music Shoppe, 247 E. Jefferson St.

Comtra Theatre, Route 19, Cranberry Township, presents the play “Subject To Change” through Saturday. The Rodgers and Hammerstein musical “Carousel” will be staged July 1 to 16. Curtain is at 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Tickets are $12 for plays and $15 for musicals. Call 724-773-9896.

<B>Freeport Theatre Festival</B> will open its 22nd summer season with the world premiere of the comedy “Spotlight!” written by Louise Rockwell and directed by Marushka Steele. Opening night July 8 is sold out. Other shows start at 8 p.m. July 9, 10, 15, 16, 17, 22, 23 and 24. Admission is $12 for adults and $10 for senior citizens and students. The show is at the Steele Farm on White Cloud Road in Allegheny Township, Westmoreland County, two miles south of Freeport off Route 356. <B>Unseam’d Shakespeare Company</B> presents “Out of This Furnace” through July 2 in the Studio Theater in the University of Pittsburgh’s Cathedral of Learning, 4200 Fifth Ave. The play is about three generations struggling to build a life in the shadow of Carnegie’s first mill. Curtain is at 8 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays and at 4 p.m. Sundays, with an extra performance at 4 p.m. July 2. Tickets range from $20 to $25.
