Concerts to Munch By, hosted by the Butler County Symphony Association, will feature Tom Wotus and Mary Andreassi, piano and vocals, from 12:15 until 12:45 p.m. Wednesday in the symphony office building, 259 S. Main St. The series continues Wednesdays through Aug. 17. Each week a musician or group of musicians perform a free half-hour concert. The free Family Summer Concert Series at Alameda Park, hosted by the Butler County Park and Recreation Department, will begin at 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays and will take place in the park's Carousel Shelter. Performing Tuesday will be Waldo Young — The One-Man Band, playing tunes from the '60s to the present plus some original songs on acoustic guitar and harmonica. Call 724-284-5383.

A Concert for Cancer, benefiting 40-year-old Jennifer Earhart Scears in her battle with thymoma, will take place Saturday at Rock Falls Park, Slippery Rock. Gates will open at 11:30 a.m. with music beginning at 12:30 p.m. Performing will be Jon Fisher, Waldo Young, Sweaty Betty, Miss Freddye, Elliot Sussman, Daddy Jones Kingdom, Bootleg Band, Hy Winz and Eugene and the Nightcrawlers. Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. Raffles and an auction are planned. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 the day of the show. Harmony Business Association's 16th annual Thursday evening concert series begins at 8 p.m. June 30 with the Kardaz band performing classics from the 1950s, '60s and '70s in front of the Harmony Inn on Mercer Street. Musicians Concert Band is performing at a new site this summer: the Butler Intermediate High School auditorium, 551 Fairground Hill Road. The previous concert site, Miller Auditorium at Slippery Rock University, is under construction. Concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. today as well as July 7 and 21 and Aug. 4. Admission is $3.
