Young, Hixon

Justin and Danielle Hixon

Danielle Young of Aliquippa and Justin Eugene Hixon of Butler were united in marriage June 5 at the Doubletree Pittsburgh Airport Hotel. The Rev. Don Lee officiated. A reception followed at the same location.

The bride is the daughter of Miriam Marrese of Haddon Heights, N.J., and Michael Scott Young of Perkasie. Parents of the bridegroom are Eugene and Kimberly Hixon of Butler.

The honor attendant was Samantha Morrisey of Springfield, Pa. Bridesmaids included Jenna Acquaviva of Pittsburgh, Jessica McMahan of Coatesville, Rachel Hixon of Butler and Kristin Edmonds of Zelienople. The flower girl was Gabriella Norman of Evans City.

Performing the duties of best man was Dennis Edmonds of Zelienople. Ushers included Scott Weinzierl of Seven Fields, Michael Young of Morrisville, Pa., P.J. Hixon of Butler and Noah Cetnar of Butler. The ring bearers were Robert Scott Minto of Aliquippa and Westin Edmonds of Zelienople.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Williamstown High School and a 2008 graduate of Philadelphia University, where she received a bachelor’s in architecture. She is employed by Embassy Suites in Coraopolis.

The bridegroom graduated in 2002 from Knoch High School and in 2011 with a bachelor’s in psychology from Slippery Rock University. He is in the United States Air Force.

Following a honeymoon trip to Puerto Rico, the couple is making their home in Aliquippa.
