Gary F. Binder
To my husband who passed away 7 years ago today 6/09/2004 Gary F. Binder
After 7 years the word that comes to mind over and over again is “granted”.
What a silly word, alone it doesn’t mean much but after all these years it means a lot now.
Have you ever realized how much you take for granted on a daily basis.
I miss all those unimportant moments, that look across a table at dinner time, those sweet but short kisses when you pass in the hallway. Holding hands going into a store or that big hug that says “I love you” with no words spoken. We all take them or took them “for granted”. Something as simple and easy and not even thought about until it is to late.
That is what I have missed the most since your passing.
Something I did take for granted and wish I could go back and remedy.
To all who read this, for that person you can’t live without, give an extra hug, a little longer on that kiss or just hold your loved ones gaze till they smile, (that is I love you without any words). You have no idea what tomorrow will bring and believe me you will remember those last moments for the rest of your life and have regrets to go along with all of them.
I do.
Your loving Wife that is sorry for taking you “for granted”.
