Grant Foley tossed a one-hitter and went 4-for-4 including a home run — all on his birthday to lead Meridian to a 17-2 victory over Butler City in Butler County American Legion action Tuesday.

Foley also drove in three runs while Jake Koerner added a single, double and three RBI, Bobby Swartwout a home run and two RBI, Alex Scialabba three singles and an RBI and Ben Berresford two singles and an RBI.

Josh Friel’s two-run homer was Butler City’s lone hit.

• Cole Baxter blasted a three-run homer in the bottom of the sixth inning that broke a 4-all tie to send Center Township to a 7-4 victory over Saxonburg.

Aaron Voelker added a pair of singles and Joe Malardie pitched 3.1 innings of relief to pick up the win for CT (4-2).

Garrett Shaw singled and doubled and Marcus Cashell added two hits for Saxonburg.
