Knoch students excel at festival
CHICAGO — The Knoch High School Concert Choir, Chamber Singers and Women’s Ensemble participated in a Music in the Parks Adjudication Festival and Competition here on May 12-16.
All three groups earned a rating of excellent.
The Chamber Singers took first place, earning the second highest score of the 14 high school choirs in the festival, and the Concert Choir took first place against four other choirs from around the country. The Women’s Ensemble took second place in its division.
The students also performed at Navy Pier and did an impromptu performance in Millennium Park.
