McCorry Jr.

Donald J. McCorry Jr., 53, of Butler died Saturday at the Good Samaritan Hospice at Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Cabot.

Born Sept. 15, 1957, in Butler, he was a son of Donald J. McCorry Sr. and Norma (Duncan) McCorry, who is deceased.

Donald was a welder for 23 years for companies in Texas, California and New Jersey, where he lived before he returned to Butler. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Donald is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Faith and Rob Taylor of Fenelton and Tonya McCorry and Willie Martinez of Dacula, Ga.; and five grandchildren, Alysha Welton, Randy Welton and Zachary Taylor, all of Fenelton, and Gage Martinez and Regan Martinez, both of Dacula.

He also is survived by his father, Donald J. McCorry Sr. of Butler; and his siblings, two sisters and their husbands, Sue and Butch Seaton of Butler and Kim and Dave Fitzpatrick of East Butler, and one brother, Dave McCorry of Butler.

<B>MCCORRY</B> — Friends of Donald J. McCorry Jr., who died Saturday, April 16, 2011, will be received at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will follow at 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Thomas Gillespie will officiate.
