Mary Lou Jean Johnson, 79, of McMurray died Monday at the Canonsburg Hospital.

Born June 13, 1931, in Chicago, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Archibald and Ann (Dorsett) Hignett.

Mrs. Johnson enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Thomas D. Johnson, who she married May 24, 1951; two daughters, Debra Santypal and her husband, George, of Evans City and Kimberly Johnson of McMurray; and four grandchildren, Dr. Shaun Johnson and his wife, Jill, and Brandon, Travis and Taylor Santypal.
