Comtra Theatre will hold auditions for the Rodgers & Hammerstein’s musical “Carousel” from 3 to 5:30 p.m. Saturday and from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the theater on Route 19 in Cranberry Township.

Performance dates will be July 1 to 16.

Performers should take a prepared Broadway-style or classical song to sing. There will be cold readings and a movement audition for all and an advanced dance audition for specific roles.

• Comtra will also hold auditions for the musical “Nunsensations: The Las Vegas Nunsense Revue” from noon to 2:30 p.m. Saturday and from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the theater. Performance dates are July 22 to Aug 6 in Cranberry with a weekend encore in Cook’s Forrest in September.

• The Armstrong Community Theater will conduct auditions for the upcoming summer musical “Happy Days” at 7 p.m. May 5 and at 11 a.m. May 7 at the Worthington Civic Center in the basement of the community library, 214 E. Main St., Worthington.

The auditions are for anyone age 15 and older.

Those auditioning will be taught a song from the show and a short dance combination. Select auditioners may be asked to read from the script.

The show will take place July 21, 22 and 23 at the Worthington Civic Center.
