Dolores T. Hoffman
Dolores T. Hoffman, 84, of Cranberry Township passed away Sunday at UPMC Passavant-Cranberry, Cranberry Township
Born March 12, 1927, in Scranton, she was the daughter of Anthony and Antoinette Megra Casciano.
Mrs. Hoffman was a member of the Dutilh United Methodist Church, Cranberry Township, where she also was a member of the Ruth Circle.
As a devoted senior citizen advocate, she was a member of the Cranberry Senior Citizens Club, the AARP and the 55 Plus group, and she was a past president of the Rolling Regency Senior Housing Apartments Association.
Mrs. Hoffman enjoyed gardening, hummingbirds, going to the beach and playing the organ. She was a loving and caring lady who cherished her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Frank J. Hoffman (Joyce) of Cranberry Township; three daughters, Naomi Yarzebinski (David) of Freedom, Marsha Singer (Michael) of San Marcos, Calif., and Audrey Ligato (Daniel) of Washington, Pa.; a brother, Anthony Casciano of Long Island, N.Y.; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Hoffman, who died March 28, 1992; five sisters; and three brothers.

Hoffman, who died Sunday, March 20, 2011, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home & Cremation Services</B>, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Dutilh United Methodist Church, 1270 Dutilh Road, Cranberry Township. Friends, please meet at the church.
