Children's Day offers plenty of fun activities
SLIPPERY ROCK — The 10th annual Kaleidoscope Arts Festival is continuing through April 23 at Slippery Rock University.
This anniversary festival showcases SRU’s dance, music, theater and visual arts, as well as nationally and internationally known guest artists.
Children’s Day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday on the Russell Wright Alumni House and Conference Center lawn (rain location is the West Gym) will feature music, dance, arts and crafts, balloon sculptures and food. Performances will include the Moraine Elementary Children’s Choir, Rock Dance Company, SRU Jazz Ensemble, and the SRU Shakespeare Tour.
The Missoula Children’s Theatre presents “Alice in Wonderland” at 3 and 5:30 p.m. in Miller Auditorium.
Most events are free or at minimal cost. Tickets may be purchased at the door for those events requiring them, or through the University Union information booth. Call 724-738-4586.
