Marie A. Kelly

Marie A. Kelly, 86, of Butler died Wednesday evening at the Lowrie House.

She was born in Butler on Jan. 26, 1925, a daughter of the late John and Valeria Shrobar Nemcek.

She had been a sales clerk at the former Sun Drug Store that had been on Main Street in Butler and later at the store at the Greater Butler Shopping Mart.

Marie was a member of the St. Fidelis Catholic Church in Lyndora.

She was the widow of Michael R. Kelly, who died Aug. 6, 1990. She was also preceded in death by an infant son, three brothers, and three sisters.

She is survived by two daughters, Bernadette May (Joseph) of Mechanicsburg and Kathleen Kowal (Michael) of Butler; five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

<B>KELLY</B> — A private blessing service will be for Marie A. Kelly, who died Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at Calvary Cemetery in Butler. There will not be a visitation.Arrangements were handled by the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.In lieu of flowers, her family suggests that memorial donations be sent to the Amedysis Hospice, 240 Pullman Square, Suite 255, Butler, PA 16001.
