In loving memory of our dad, grandad, and great grandad, Robert C. Christy, who passed away 25 years ago today, April 11, 1986.

It has been 25 years since we last gazed upon your face, heard your voice and laughter, and hugged you. 25 years have gone by in a blink and a sigh. That day is still so vivid, hearing the doctor say “he will not make it through the night.” You fought so hard to stay. But God had watched you as you suffered and He knew you had your shave. He closed your weary eyes and took you in His care.

Every milestone in our lives you have always been there – in our hearts. So much has changed in our family. Your four grandsons are doing well. There are now four great grandsons and a great granddaughter. You would be so proud of them!

As the family circle has grown, it has also had broken links . . . your baby brother and a sister have joined you. We can only imagine the family reunions these past years. We close our eyes and see you, Mom, and Lisa together. We know someday we will be together again.

Our hearts still ache with sadness and many secret tears still flow in the quiet of night. For what it meant to lose you, no one will ever truly know.
