Associated Artists of Butler County and Slippery Rock University present the Bachelor of Fine Arts Senior Exhibition Friday through April 14 at The Art Center, 344 S. Main St.

The show includes work by artists Brittney Fairchild, Bethany Abt, Corrie Haight, Emily Edwards and Jacob Savisky.

A meet the artists event is planned for 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. April 14.

Other upcoming events at The Art Center are:

• Band Night and opening of the Underground Gallery photography show, 7 to 9 p.m. April 15. Admission is $5 for the opening night event. The exhibit continues through May 6.

• Annual Butler County High School Art Exhibit opening, 7 to 9 p.m. April 22. The exhibit runs through May 6.

• Gillian Scanlon’s Memorial Birthday Bash & Benefit Concert, April 23, featuring the music of singers and songwriters Christopher Paul Skelling and Julia Chistgau of Brooklyn, N.Y., Erica Seth and Jerry Lorenz of Butler, and an after-party all night dance party in The Underground hosted by Spencer Keasey Scanlon. Admission is $12.

• 76th annual spring show and sale opening, 7 to 9 p.m. May 13. The exhibit continues through June 10. A call for artists was issued for this show and applications can be downloaded from the website: www.aabcArtCenter.com.
