NATALIE BEILSTEIN (Knoch), a sophomore on the University of Michigan women’s gymnastics team, had scores of 9.9000 in the floor exercise and 9.875 in the vault to help the Wolverines win the Ann Arbor Regional Championship Saturday and advance to the national championships, which will be held April 15-17 in Cleveland.•

AMANDA SHEPPECK (Knoch) had two hits and two runs for the Grove City College softball team in a 6-4 victory over Washington & Jefferson College and added a double in the nightcap, a 2-1 loss.•

LAUREN PENNELL (Seneca Valley), a senior pitcher for the Grove City College softball team, tossed a complete game six-hitter in a 2-1 loss to Washington & Jefferson College. Pennell would score the lone run and also became the school’s career leader in innings pitched (483⅓).•

MERRISSA MALCOLM (Freeport) captured the women’s pole vault at the Wooster Invitational Friday, clearing 3.2 meters to pace the Westminster College squad.
