Mary E. Ray, April 22, 1939 – March 29 2010

A year ago today God called you home to Him.

He surely welcomed you with open arms and promised peace within.

Not a day’s gone by that we haven’t thought of you and wished that you were here.

Yet we have our many memories of you that we will always hold so dear.

You taught us about faith, courage, perseverance and love.

And you do this still, though your messages come from Heaven above.

You often talked of angels that helped you through each day.

Now you’re with those angels and to you we do now pray:

Dear Mom and Grandma; Be ever at our side.

Our hearts know God chose you to be our most cherished guide.
