Pamela Wigley

PITTSBURGH — Pamela Wigley of Mars has joined the Citizens Bank Public Affairs team, working from the bank's headquarters in Pittsburgh.

Wigley is responsible for coordinating charitable giving, community outreach, marketing sponsorships and media relations for Citizens Bank in western and central Pennsylvania.

She has more than 25 years of experience in business communications. Before joining Citizens Bank, Wigley was the director of Public Relations at La Roche College.

Previously, she was manager of corporate communications at the H.J. Heinz Co.'s world headquarters. Early in her career she was a reporter for The Pittsburgh Press and the Beaver County Times.

A member of the International Association of Business Communicators, Wigley has served on a number of its committees and most recently chaired its annual Golden Triangle Awards in October 2009.

Wigley earned a bachelor's degree in journalism from Indiana (Pa.) University.

HARRISVILLE — The Kozy Rest Kampground is now a Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park.Owned by the Quigley Family since 2000, the campground features 170 campsites for RV and tent camping, as well as yurts and full-service cabins for rent.The campground will open this year on April 15 for the camping season with Yogi Bear on hand to welcome guests and visitors.Owner Denny Quigley said the Yogi Bear Jellystone Park company is the second largest in the United States with 75 independently owned campgrounds. ZELIENOPLE — Butler County Tourism and Convention Bureau's upcoming Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival is featured in a nationwide magazine.Petersen's 4Wheel and Off-Road Magazine, which boasts the largest circulation of an off-road magazine in the nation with a circulation of 297,000, features the August festival in an editorial in the May 2011 issue.“Getting the word out about the Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival is really important for our event to be a success,” said Jack Cohen, executive director of the Butler County Tourism & Convention Bureau.“The visibility and credibility we're being given in this national publication will help us not only gain awareness among Jeep owners, but also influence potential vendors to attend this event and share their products with Festival attendees.“We want to toot our horn and let everyone know that Butler is the birthplace of the Jeep.”The festival will be held in Butler and at the Butler County Fair Grounds in Prospect from Aug. 12 to 14. CLARION, Clarion County — Lt. Gov. Jim Cawley and Tyrone Christy, PUC commissioner from Renfrew, are participating in a Marcellus Shale symposium Tuesday at Clarion University.Hosted by the Clarion College Republicans, the symposium, “21st Century Energy Vitalization: Marcellus Shale — Boom or Bust?” will run from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the James Gemmell Student Complex Multi-Purpose Room.
