Mary K. Grace, 88, formerly of Wexford, Pine Township, died Wednesday morning, Feb. 16, 2011, at the LAS/St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars.

Born in Pittsburgh, Oct. 13, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Robert C. and Jessie Prethero Ford.

Mary had worked for Mine Safety Appliance in Allison Park and was a former member of the Covenant Presbyterian Church in Wexford.

Surviving are three daughters, Mary Ertzberger of Valencia, Penn Township, Janet Hoffstetter of Sewickley and Virginia Susan Smith (James) in Texas; a son, Robert T. Grace (Nellie) of Valencia; eight grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer L. Grace, who she married Aug. 31, 1940, and who died in 1989; and by a sister, Helen Sheneck.

Friends were received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars, on Friday. Services were Saturday at the funeral home. Burial was in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Pine Township.
