Tammy Ferguson
Tammy Ferguson, 50, went home to be with the Lord Sunday at her home in Slippery Rock.
Tammy was born May 2, 1960, in Littlefield, Texas, to Ray and Sandy (Carmickle) Anderson.
She attended Western High School in Las Vegas, Nev., graduating in 1978. Tammy received her paralegal certification from the International Business College in 1995.
She married Mike Ferguson Jan. 26, 2001, at Lubbock, Texas. The couple lived in Lubbock, Bent Mountain, Va., and Plano, Texas, before moving to Slippery Rock a year ago.
She loved doing genealogy, gardening, canning and all types of arts and crafts.
Tammy was a member of the First Baptist Church of Littlefield.
Survivors include her husband, Mike of Slippery Rock; three sons, Jordon Shirley of San Antonio, Texas, Camron Ferguson at home and Tyler Ferguson of New Braunfels, Texas; a daughter, Pricilla Davis of Richmond, Texas; a grandchild, Brynne Davis of Richmond, Texas; her mother, Sandy Anderson of Amarillo, Texas; her father, Ray Anderson of Lubbock; and two sisters, Rayna Anderson Washam of Lubbock and Darla Anderson Myrah of Lubbock.
<B>FERGUSON </B>— Funeral services for Tammy Ferguson, who died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2011, were today at the First Baptist Church in Littlefield, Texas, with the Rev. Marcus Murphy, pastor of the Oakwood Baptist Church in Lubbock, officiating. Burial followed in Littlefield Memorial Park.The family requests memorials be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation or to the Wounded Warriors Foundation.Arrangements were entrusted to <B>Hammons Funeral Home </B>of Littlefield.
