'Into the Woods'
RIMERSBURG — Union High School will present the musical “Into the Woods” by Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine at 7 p.m. March 11 and 12 at the school on Baker Street.
The musical intertwines the plots of several Brothers Grimm fairy tales including Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk and Cinderella, and follows them further to explore the consequences of the characters’ wishes and quests.
Tickets will be sold for $5 at the door or by calling 814-473-3121, Line 5, Ext. 2.
The show is being directed by David Gibson, with Cindy Culp as assistant director and Lisa Hummel as pit conductor.
Costumes are being done by Elaine Cincala, with sound by Dave Whitmire and painting by Darla Lipps and Dee McGarrity.
