Joyce B. Benek, 57, of Harmony died Tuesday at the Center For Compassionate Care, Pittsburgh.

Born Dec. 12, 1953, in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of Margaret W. (Soltesz) Boros of Zelienople and the late John G. Boros.

Joyce had been employed in the hospitality service industry at the Marriott in Cranberry Township.

She enjoyed jewelry making, spending summers at the Outer Banks and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Lawrence J. Benek Jr.; two sons, Aaron Benek of Peters Township and Christopher J. Benek of Kane; a daughter, Meredith A. Benek of Zelienople; a brother, John P. Boros of Bowie, Md.; and two sisters, Kris E. Lavoie of Meridian and Jennifer L. Boros of Zelienople.
