Freda A. Jones
Freda Audrey Jones, 97, of Cabot passed away Saturday at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.
Born March 14, 1913, in Brackenridge, she was the daughter of Renwick Lyle McConnell and Rosa Maude Heilman McConnell.
She was a homemaker and mother.
She was a member of the Cabot United Methodist Church, where she had taught Sunday school and sang in the church choir.
She enjoyed quilting.
Surviving are three sons, Dwight (Alice) Jones of Butler, Roy (Bert Zema) Jones of Cabot and James (Barb) Jones of Cabot; four daughters, Myrna (Robert) Montgomery of Cabot, Freda (Joseph) Olean of Butler, Marian Jones of Sarver and Eunice Schoettker of Cabot; a sister, Bernice Kutch of Sarver; 22 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Jones; a son, Carl Jones; and a daughter, Virginia Crist.
<B>JONES</B> — Friends of Freda Audrey Jones, who died Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011, will be received today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, Saxonburg. Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Matthew Judd officiating.
