Minnie May Anderson, 91, of Butler passed away at 1:55 p.m. Tuesday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born Sept. 30, 1919, in Pittsburgh, the daughter of the late G.C.A. Buchser and the late Josephine (O'Keefe) Buchser.

Minnie was a member of the Covenant United Presbyterian Church, the Tanglewood Center and the Maqueda Chapter Order of the Eastern Star 421, and she was a past president of Republican Women.

She retired from the Butler County Controller's office, where she had been a payroll clerk.

Surviving are two sons, Larry T. and Judie Anderson of Broomall, Delaware County, and Glenn A. Anderson of Butler; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Helen Wienand of Pittsburgh.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Anderson, who died April 27, 1998, a sister, and three brothers.

<B>ANDERSON</B> — Friends of Minnie May Anderson, who died Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2011, will be received at <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Services will be at the funeral home Friday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. James Swanson of Covenant United Presbyterian Church officiating.
