Falcons fall from postseason
Allan Eaton led all scorers with 23 points and tallied 11 rebounds, three assists and two blocks, but the A-C Valley boys basketball team fell to host Ridgway, 57-49, in the opening round of the District 9 Class A playoffs Wednesday.
Ryan Bartley chipped in with 15 points and eight rebounds for No. 15 A-C Valley (10-13), which held a 26-23 halftime advantage.
Ridgway (21-4), the No. 2 seed, used a balanced scoring attack, as Jordan Lundin and Eric Matheson had 12 points apiece and Josh Mitchell added 10.
