• SRU presents Eve Ensler's Obie Award-winning play “The Vagina Monologues” at 7 p.m. today and Friday in the Advanced Technology and Science Hall. The work is based on interviews with more than 200 women who reveal personal triumphs, trials and tribulations related to being female. Proceeds benefit the Butler County VOICe program, the Lawrence County Crisis Shelter and the 2011 V-Day Spotlight on the Women of Haiti.Tickets, available from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. this week at the University Union, are $3 for students and $5 for the public. Tickets will also be available at the door.• The SRU production of the musical “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” opens at 8 p.m. Feb. 24 in Miller Auditorium.The show will be presented at 8 p.m. Feb 24, 25, 27 and 28 and March 1 and 2 and at 2 p.m. Feb. 27.Student tickets are $5 and are available at the Miller Auditorium box office or the University Union. GCC is hosting a gallery showing to celebrate the work of children’s book illustrator and author John Manders. The installation concludes Monday in the Pew Fine Art Center Gallery.The gallery will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mondays and Fridays and 1 to 4 p.m. Saturdays.Westminster CollegeWestminster will host The Cleveland Duo and James Umble in concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in Orr Auditorium. The program is free.Violinist Stephen Warner and his pianist wife Carolyn are The Cleveland Duo and are members of the Cleveland Orchestra.
