Harriet L. Dalecke Wynn, 73, of Butler entered the gates of Heaven Saturday at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.

She was born Nov. 29, 1937, in Mount Clemens, Mich., to Leonard and Augusta Schalm Dalecke.

Harriet was of the Southern Baptist faith.

She was devoted to the love and care of her late husband, her children and grandchildren.

Known to her loved ones as Henna, she shared a precious long-distance relationship with her sisters in Michigan and her local lifelong girlfriends, known as the “Friday Night Gang.”

Henna was a service-oriented Christian who helped when any need arose within her church, family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by two sons, William (Beth) Wynn Jr. of Butler and Timothy Wynn and his fiancee, Kristen, of Butler; two daughters, Kathleen (Don) McElravy of Karns City and Leanne Wynn of Butler; five sisters, Bea Magee, Jan (John) Specht, Shirley (Alan) Fitzgerald, Betty (William) Maas, Trudy (Richard) Hines and her sister-in-law, Leona Dalecke, all of Michigan; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

Harriet was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William O. Wynn Sr., on June 13, 2007; and her brother, Elmer Dalecke.

<B>WYNN</B> — There will be no public services for Harriet L. Dalecke Wynn, who died Saturday, Jan. 8, 2010, but friends and family are welcome to express their condolences by sending cards or letters to any of Harriet's four children.Memorial donations may be made to Good Samaritan Hospice, 134 Marwood Road Cabot, PA 16023.Arrangements were under the direction of the <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, Saxonburg; and information also is available at www.foxfuneralhomeinc.com.
