Gloria J. Sutton, 54, of Butler died unexpectedly Friday morning at her home.

Born March 3, 1956, in Butler, she was a daughter of Catherine (Gombash) Geist and the late Francis Sutton.

Surviving are her daughter, Amanda C. Sutton of Butler; her mother, Catherine Geist of Butler; four sisters, Judith Koebler, Wanda Bernard, Frances Winters and Dawnetta Mentzer, all of Butler; three brothers, Chester Sutton, Calvin Sutton and Ronald Sutton, all of Butler; two stepbrothers, Paul Geist of Slippery Rock, and Albert Geist of Butler; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Francis Sutton, and her stepfather, Albert Lynn Geist.

Sutton, who died Friday, Dec. 31, 2010, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the mausoleum chapel at the Butler County Memorial Park cemetery, 380 Evans City Road, Butler.
