Joseph W. Fotta
Joseph W. Fotta, 90, of Conway passed away Wednesday at Heritage Valley Sewickley.
He was born Nov. 27, 1920, in Marguerite to the late Steve and Appolonia Humansky Fotta.
He retired from the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board, and he also was an accountant for numerous car dealerships.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in World War II.
He attended Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Conway.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Raskovsky Fotta; three daughters, Judith Pecoraro and her husband, Dean, of Butler, Germaine Fotta of New Stanton and Karen Fotta of Conway; two granddaughters, Suzanne Fleeger and her husband, Michael, of Butler and Amanda Rekich and her husband, Nathan, of Butler; and three great-grandchildren, Emily Fleeger, Tyler Rekich and Ella Rekich, all of Butler.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Joseph W. Fotta Jr.; two brothers, Steve and Andrew Fotta; and one sister, Mary Rapchak.
<B>FOTTA</B> — Friends of Joseph W. Fotta, who died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010, will be received from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Bohn-Matich Funeral Home</B>, 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m., both at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, with the Rev. Jack Fitzgerald officiating.Internment will follow at the Good Samaritan Cemetery.
