Brenda L. Hicks
Brenda L. Burrows Hicks, 61, of East Brady passed away early Wednesday morning at her home of natural causes.
Born Dec. 28, 1948, she was the daughter of Arleene Miller Burrows, and the late Earl Burrows Sr.
Brenda was a Catholic.
She had been employed for more than 22 years as a driver for Shriver Bus Lines.
Her hobbies included spending time with her grandchildren, camping, baking and crocheting.
She is survived by her husband, Mason M. “Butch” Hicks Jr., who she married on Dec. 31, 1989; her mother Arleene and her stepfather Shirl Felix of Parker; two sons, Roger A. (Patty) King of Bruin and Scott M. (Cindy) King of Parker; four grandchildren, Keighlene, Alyssa, Keaton and Dakota King; two sisters, Patty Thompson of Virginia and Sandra Felix of Parker; one brother, Earl “Bo” Burrows Jr. of Parker; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Jackie Ashbaugh and Beverly Griggs.
