Ruby A. Huff, 93, of Butler died at 7:59 p.m. Monday in the VNA Inpatient Hospice.

Born June 13, 1917, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Harry R. Morrison and Cecelia Lassinger Morrison.

Mrs. Huff was a homemaker most of her life and worked part time at Montgomery Ward in the late 1960s.

She was an excellent seamstress and loved flower gardening. She spent her winters during the 1970s and early 1980s in North Fort Myers, Fla., residing at Mobile Manor, where she enjoyed riding her 3-wheel bike and participating in various activities at the club house.

Mrs. Huff is survived by two daughters, Joyce E. (William) Hoffman of Butler and Deborah K. (James) Rathbun of Prospect; one son, James L. (Maureen) Huff of Butler; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers; and two sisters.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Huff was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Huff, who she married Sept. 23, 1936, and who passed away Dec. 13, 1986; an infant son; four sisters; and two brothers.

<B>HUFF</B> — Friends of Ruby A. Huff, who died Monday, Dec. 20, 2010, will be received at <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St., Butler, Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
