Lanning

Frances Lanning, 78, of Autumn Grove Care Center, Harrisville, died at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Butler Memorial Hospital.

She was born Oct. 11, 1932. Frances was an only child, and lost her father, Frank B. Lanning in World War II.

She was a member of the North Street Christian Church in Butler.

Miss Lanning was at one time a check-out person at a department store.

Frances was very loved at Autumn Grove and will be missed.

In addition to her father, Miss Lanning was preceded in death by her mother, Mabel Lanning, and one aunt.

LANNING — A memorial service for Frances Lanning, who died Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2010, will be held at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler, on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. with Pastor Robert C. Huber of the North Street Christian Church officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Burial Estates.
