CHAMPION — State police are investigating more than 40 reports of stolen ski or snowboarding equipment at Seven Springs Mountain Resort since early December — but say they’ve charged one man with a single incident.

Police say 25-year-old Seth Siniawski, of North Huntingdon, was charged Monday with theft, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after another skier said he caught Siniawski leaving a lounge with the skier’s jacket and equipment bag late Friday night.

Online court records don’t list an attorney for Siniawski, who also doesn’t have a phone listed in his name.

Video shows texter’s tumble into fountain

WYOMISSING — A video that shows an oblivious texter tumbling into the fountain at a Pennsylvania mall is making the rounds on the Internet.

The video of security camera footage taken last week shows two views of a female patron walking directly into the edge of the fountain at the as she apparently was texting on her cell phone.

The texter trips and falls face-first into the water, losing her phone and the bag she was carrying, before climbing out.
