Dorothy E. Roth, 84, of Butler passed away at 12:05 a.m. Thursday at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.

She was born Sept. 27, 1926, in Pittsburgh, the daughter of the late Walter and Dorothy (Herbe) Neely.

Dorothy attended the Thorn Creek Church.

She enjoyed gardening, canning, walking on the golf course and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Sandra and her husband, Michael, Dowling of Butler; two sons, William H. and his wife, Candace, Roth of New Wilmington, and Robert A. and his wife, Debra, Roth of Littleton, Colo.; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and one brother, Donald Neely of Garland, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Roth, who died May 8, 2007; two brothers, and one sister.
