Lyla Chambers

Lyla Elizabeth Hatfield Chambers, 88 of Evans City passed away Monday morning at her home.

Born Nov. 26, 1922, in Quarrier, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Braxton and Ethel Wall Hatfield.

She is a member of Evans City Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Chambers, who died March 25, 2000; four sisters; and three brothers.

Surviving are two daughters, Brenda Tipton of South Carolina and Debbie Chambers of Renfrew; eight sons, Robert Chambers Jr. of New York, James Stanley of South Carolina, Larry (Twila) Chambers and Curt (Debbie) Chambers, both of Butler, Glenn (Gail) Chambers of Ohio, Jerry Chambers and Dawn Frishkorn and Craig (Karen) Chambers, all of Evans City, and Chris Chambers of McDonald.

Also surviving are 23 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.

<B>CHAMBERS </B>— Relatives and friends of Lyla Elizabeth Hatfield Chambers, who died Monday Dec. 13, 2010, will be received at the Evans City Church of God, 800 S. Washington St., Evans City, from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the church with Pastor Keith Karma officiating. Burial will be in the Evans City Cemetery.Arrangements are under the direction of the <B>A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N.
