Daniel William Pink, 56, of Slippery Rock Township died unexpectedly Saturday at his home of natural causes.

Born in Grove City, Feb. 12, 1954, he was the son of William Alexander Pink and Rouie Delsie Metheny.

He married Patricia Lavonne Watson on Feb. 9, 1974.

He was a member of Local 9 and was a union bricklayer for various local contractors. He worked for 26 years at Cooper Energy as a machinist until it closed.

He was a Presbyterian.

He was a member of the Pennsylvania Sons of American Legion Post 852 in Harrisville and a lifetime member of the NRA.

He enjoyed his family, hunting, pitching horseshoes and working in his orchard. He was an avid follower of local high schools sports and a dedicated Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Surviving are his wife, Patricia L. Pink of Slippery Rock; two daughters, Stacie Diane (Matthew) Sespico of Butler and Shannon Marie (Steve) Bolibruck of Pittsburgh; his parents, William A. and Rouie D. Pink of Slippery Rock; three sisters, Iris (Raymond) Niswander of Ohio, Carol (Gregory) Snyder of Grove City and Donna (Jeff) McKee of Slippery Rock; six grandchildren, Emily, Nathaniel, Noah and Josiah Sespico and Elias and Hope Bolibruck.

He was preceded in death by a twin sister, Dianne Pink; his grandparents; and several uncles and cousins.

<B>PINK</B> — Services for Daniel William Pink, who died Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010, will be at the Plain Grove Presbyterian Church, Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. John McElwain of the Coalition for Christian Outreach, Pittsburgh, officiating. Visitation will be at the <B>Smith Funeral Home, </B>421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock, Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Interment will be at the South Plain Grove Cemetery.
