Jean Allen Cratty
Jean Bachman Allen Cratty, 80, of Prospect passed away Monday in Greensboro, N.C.
She was born May 10, 1930, in Butler, and she was the daughter of the late Otto and Florence Trimbur Bachman.
She was a member of the Community Alliance Church in Butler, where she enjoyed being involved in many church group activities.
She retired after teaching over 30 years in the Slippery Rock School District. She was a member of the Retired Teachers' Association.
She is survived by her husband, Glenn Cratty, who she married in August 2002; her son, Brent (Lori) Allen of Ohio; Glenn's children, Carol, Keith and Gerry; her grandchildren, Christine, Sarah and Andy; two brothers, Glen (Joan) Bachman of Butler and Harry Bachman of Florida; one sister Mrs. Merle (Eileen) Shearer of Sarver; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, George W. Allen, who she married in 1955, and who passed away in 1991.
<B>CRATTY</B> — Visitation for Jean Bachman Allen Cratty, who died Monday, Dec. 6, 2010, will be in the Community Alliance Church, Butler, Monday from 5 p.m. to the time of service at 7 p.m., with the Rev. Denny Krajackic, her pastor, officiating. Interment in Mt.
