MIDDLETOWN — A record-breaking Cash 5 lottery ticket worth $1.57 million was sold at a convenience store in southwestern Pennsylvania.

State lottery officials say it's the largest single jackpot-winning ticket in the game's 19-year history.

Rhoads Mini Mart in Somerset sold the winning ticket for Sunday's drawing with the numbers 5-17-25-31-37.

The winner, who has yet to come forward, will get $1.57 million before taxes. The store receives $10,000 for selling the ticket.

SHANKSVILLE — The National Park Service has named a new superintendent for Western Pennsylvania, including the Flight 93 National Memorial.Keith Newlin, the region's deputy superintendent since 2007, will take the job for a year beginning Feb. 1. He'll replace Joanne Hanley who has worked with Flight 93 family members and others to build a national memorial where the hijacked United Airlines flight crashed in Somerset County during the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

SCRANTON — Sentencing has been pushed back for a former Pennsylvania judge who pleaded guilty to corruption charges for rigging an arbitration for a favored lawyer.Former Luzerne County Judge Michael Toole is scheduled to be sentenced March 25. He pleaded guilty in November to charges of corrupt receipt of reward for official action and tax evasion.Toole admitted he used a beach house in return for helping an attorney win an arbitration matter.
