Ruth L. Giesler, 87, of Butler, formerly of Gibsonia, passed away Friday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born Dec. 1, 1923, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of John and Marie (Wenig) Lang.

She was a staff aide for Bell Telephone in Pittsburgh.

Ruth was a Protestant.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, John C. Giesler, who passed away on March 27, 1988.
