Marie Greenawalt
Marie Greenawalt, 94, formerly of East Brady, died Tuesday at the Clarview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Piney Township, Clarion County.
Born Sept. 1, 1916, in Sarah Furnace, Clarion County, she was the daughter of Sebastian B. and Pearl E. (Lehner) Jordan.
She was a devout East Brady High School basketball fan and also enjoyed bingo and writing poetry
She was a member of the St. Eusebius Roman Catholic Church, East Brady.
Surviving are three sons, Thomas Allshouse and his wife, Bonnie, of East Brady, James Greenawalt and his wife, Nancy, of Madison Township, Clarion County, and Donald Greenawalt of East Brady. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, a great-great-granddaughter and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, five sisters, an infant son and an infant daughter.
<B>GREENAWALT </B>— Friends of Marie Greenawalt, who died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Charles B. Buechele Funeral Home</B>, 105 Fourth St., East Brady. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Eusebius Church with the Rev William Kuba, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the St. Eusebius Cemetery, Brady Township, Clarion County.A parish prayer service will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
