Hildegard N. Stasek
Hildegard “Hilde” N. (Fassnacht) Stasek, 87, of Gibsonia died Monday in Golden Living of Oakmont. She was the wife of the late Thomas F. Stasek.
She was born in Cologne, Germany, to the late Maximilian and Hertha (Keller) Fassnacht.
Mrs. Stasek was self-employed and worked for Furniture Galleries in Butler making interior window treatments. She retired at age 77.
She was Catholic by faith and was a former member of the women's auxiliary of the Richland Township Fire Department.
She enjoyed traveling, going to garage sales and estate sales and loved her two dachshunds.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Ann Stasek of Pittsburgh.
In addition to her husband, Thomas, who died March 12, 1999, and her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Ingrid Walsmith and Else Fassnacht; and one brother, Max Fassnacht.
